About the Founder
Pastor Cheryl Finney

I was born in Macon, Georgia, to my loving parents, Ms. Priscilla Howard and Mr. King Rozier. My grandmother, Mrs. Willie B. Butler, played a major role in shaping me into the woman I am today. I completed my elementary, middle, and high school education in Macon, Georgia, before marrying my beloved late husband, Joseph A. Finney Sr. For 33 years, I was blessed to be a devoted wife and a stay-at-home mother to our four beautiful children: Marcus, Joseph Jr., Jeremy Sr., and Candice. God also blessed me with four wonderful grandchildren: T.J., Jeremy Jr., Santana, and Ashley-Nicole.
At age 10, I accepted Jesus Christ into my life, receiving my first Certificate of Acceptance—a moment that marked the beginning of my journey in faith. I learned that challenges would come, trials would test me, and storms would arise, but through it all, God whispered, “Cheryl, I’m not through with you yet!”
I went on to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Knowledge, my Master’s Degree in Wisdom, and my Doctorate in Understanding—from God’s College of Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding. Today, I stand as the CEO of Wings and Words of Hope Foundation, the Founder of the Joseph A. Finney Sr. Community Center, and the Pastor of St. Paul Christian Community Church. Through every trial, every tear, and every testimony, God has proven that He is not finished with me yet!
